edit(October 29th, 2010): my hair dresser's friend died today from an appendix burst. WOW! she was screaming and almost fainted in my mother's arms. she was saying how she was at dinner with her lastnight and that she was feeling fine, but this morning she passed once they got her to the hospital. she has a twenty year olf son in college. i don't even want to imagine how hurt he's going to feel. his only parent has passed away... at that, his mother! ):

extra edit: A Pace University junior (as well as a fellow Bostonian) died last week in NY. He was shot by a police officer that was on duty. The police officer claims that Danroy (Danroy Thomas Henry Jr.) was trying to run over a police officers....OH COME ON! They say that two different autopsies were recieved; on saying his alch level was .13 (legal level being .08) and the other saying that he wasn't under the influence. Danny's friends were with him that night and they say that Danny slowly moved the car as Police ordered him to, but one of the police officers stepped infront of the car to direct him while another hopped on the hood and shot Danny to death. Danroy was known as one of the sweetest, most kind hearted young man to walk this Earth. His heart was so big and his smile was so welcoming. His birthday is on friday (he would be 21 if he wasn't fatally shot a week before his death). He was so smart, so young, so talented (star football player), and was known as the sweetest of the bunch. A memorial was held for Dan's family at the Convention Center here in Boston and 2,000+ people showed up........I feel so sad for his friends, family, parents, and his younger siblings.

another note: On October 19th, a candle lit vigil was held in the name of my fellow Ethiopian Ali Ahmed Mohammed. He was jumped/beated to death after being denyed entry into a club in DC. You don't just beat someone up until the point where they are no longer breathing simply because they tried to get into your club. Where is the reason in that? those filthy ass son of a bitches jumped him! JUMPED HIM! 5 to 1..... do you call yourselves men after killing him 5 to 1? let me answer that for you, NO! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT PUSSY ASS/HEARTLESS BITCHES for taking this young man's life. They had enough evidence to charge the 5 grown men with MURDER, yet it was dropped from murder to aggrivated asult....excuse my french, but what the fuck?

everyone knows that i've never once gone to the nail salon (i'm not with the whole acrilic thing....) but i have gotten my toes done (once!) the night of prom lol ...anyway, i'm always painting my nails a different color every week. i always find these dope ass "stand-out" colors and my mom owns a dollar store so finding off the wall O.P.I nail polishes for one fricken dollar is nothing but ease! i love the natural shape of my nails. they grow long and straight so i never file them...ever! (and they're hard as a rock) so i never have to worry about them bending and stuff. but they do break a lot because they're so strong. rarely ever, but it does happen.....aaaaaaaanyway.......

this week: i was painting my little sisters nails a maroon color with a cute yellow design. so then i decided to paint my nails gold with a neon pink ring finger (and i put one coat of "alice is glitterland" polish over the neon).

if you've been following me on twitter and here on my blog, you should know that i post a lot of my weekly polishes (haven't in a while, actually) lol but here are some i posted in the past:

(MY WEEKEND SURE WAS), but some of you are too young to hear about it ahaha a couple of weeks ago my girls and guys had a little "get together" at my sister (Mahlet)'s house and... well.... let's just say things went a little TOO WELL! lmao then it was my cousin (Eyru)'s grad was on June 3rd! my siblings and i crashed at her house for the weekend and it was just like old times. i missed her SO MUCH! then this past weekend came around and... well.... it was BONKERS! lol my cousin/best friend/sister/right hand/Baby Girl (Lili) graduated on June 11th and Mahlet and i went to her graduation... drove through the brolic streets of Boston (car pooling with our bff, dawit, as our driver) lol ...were at the wrong place at the wrong time (thank goodness for Chris' car)! ...got home when the sun was ready to rise and watched a live performance of Nashaila's "Ride" impression AHAHAH! then yesterday (sunday) came around and we all went to Sara's graduation party! she cried during her speech and EVERYONE started balling their eyes out........AAAAAH! Mini Betty and I both said a tiny little speech for her (everyone complimented Mini Betty on her speech, but i didn't get ANYTHING...GOSH! what made it was funnier was that they'd compliment her right in front of ME! talk about a BURN!) lmao anway, we had a blast laughing and crying and dancing outside and cracking jokes on Tsegah....LMAO! "Tony Allen" baaaaaahahahaha!

anyway, THE COMING WEEKEND IS ABOUT TO BE OFF THE CHAAAAAAAAIN! it's lili's graduation party and there is NO DOUBT that it'll be one to remember! (: after party at ___'s apartment? ROOF TOP POPPING! lol
